On Thursday, March 31st we hosted our 9th tournament in Chengdu: Lethal League. Released in the summer of 2014 by Dutch developers Team Reptile, Lethal League combines pong with 2D fighting game mechanics to create one of the fastest, craziest fighting games we have played. There was a lot of yelling involved.
In this tournament we had nine participants, each of which fought their way through a competition bracket in 1v1 competition. Although each match was between two players, there were two neutral players who joined the fray for each round, creating the kind of fast-paced rhythm that (we feel) Lethal League is best enjoyed in.
